Freedom and adventure, at sea you can experience it. Sailing close to the dutch coast from Amsterdam to Scheveningen (or vice versa) is a daytrip you will never forget. Briefly going offshore at IJmuiden and the North Sea Canal is also possible. Do you want to enjoy several days on board, plan your own cruise. The skipper will be pleased to advice you on possible routes across the dutch inland- and coastal waters which he knows like the back of his hand.
Your skipper takes care of a safe trip and welcomes you on board. He is an experienced offshore sailor and able to operate the yacht singlehanded. So it is not required but a little support during the trip is appreciated because sailing is team work. When we have sufficiant room you can step into the skipper role yourself. Grab your chance, take the helm and practice different sailing maneuvers with your crew. Ready to tack?

The ?Strena? is a sea going sailing yacht, comprehensively equipped for a safe navigation at sea. Below deck there is a fine salon with pantry. The fridge, gas stove with two burners, cutlery and cooking utensils are at your disposal. Furthermore there are three cabins with a total of six births and a toilet with shower.
The ship’s name is derived from a forgotten ancient use: as a symbol of the new spring the Romans gave each other a freshly picked laurel branch, which then was attached to the front door. This laurel branch was called ‘Strena’. The ‘Strena’ spread beneficial forces so that adversity did not have access.
